Check what AI help costs and top up credit

The design tools are free. AI help, for example the assistant and AI images, uses pay-as-you-go credit. The current prices are on the pricing page. The rules for credit, expiry and refunds are in the Terms.

See the price before you send a request#

1. Open the assistant panel.
2. Select the model in the list at the top of the panel.
3. Read the Price: line below the lists.

The price is per million tokens, for what the model reads (in) and what it writes (out). Each request reads the whole conversation so far, so later messages in a long conversation cost more. To compare the models, click pricing next to the model list.

See what the conversation has cost#

The line below the price shows the number of calls, the tokens in and out, and the approximate cost of this project's conversation. If the line also shows Context with a percentage, that is how full the conversation is. A new chat starts empty and costs less.

See your balance#

1. Click your email address in the toolbar to open the account menu.
2. Read the Balance line.

If the balance is too low for a request, the assistant shows an error that tells you to top up.

Top up your credit#

1. In the account menu, click Billing and top-ups….
2. Under Top up, click an amount.
3. Read the conditions below the amounts.
4. Select the check box to agree to the Terms and to start the credit immediately.
5. Click Pay … with Stripe.
6. Complete the payment on the Stripe page.

When Stripe sends you back to KerfCraft, a message thanks you for the top-up. The new balance shows when Stripe confirms the payment.

If the Top up section shows "Top-ups are coming soon.", you cannot buy credit yet.

See your credit and payments#

1. In the account menu, click Billing and top-ups….

The Billing dialog shows your balance and each credit, with the date when it expires. Under History, the dialog shows your top-ups and refunds. Click Invoice to see the Stripe invoice for a top-up. To see the prices, click AI prices.
