# Restyle a view with AI

Turn the 3D view or a render into a styled picture with an AI image model, without changing the model.

**Restyle with AI** sends a picture of the view and your prompt to an AI image model. You get a new picture beside the original. KerfCraft sends only the image and the prompt. The model of your design does not change.

The result is labelled AI-styled. Its details and proportions can be different from your model, so do not take sizes from it.

## Restyle the view

1. Set up the view. See [Set up a view](/docs/how-to/pictures/set-up-a-view/).
2. Click **Scene** in the 3D view.
3. Click **Restyle with AI**. The **Restyle with AI** panel opens.
4. If the panel shows a result, click **Settings ▾** to show the presets and the prompt.
5. Click a preset, or type your own prompt in the box.
6. Read the estimated price on the **Restyle** button.
7. Click **Restyle**.

The presets are **Photoreal daylight interior**, **Evening warm light** and **Workshop studio shot**. Each preset puts its prompt in the box, and you can edit the prompt before you send it.

## Furnish the room around your furniture

Next to **Stage the room:**, click **Scandinavian**, **Warm minimal** or **Industrial loft**. The image model adds decor, for example a sofa, plants, a rug and curtains. The prompt tells the model to keep your furniture as it is.

## Set the quality

- **High** gives a picture of about 2K. **Draft** is faster and costs less, at about 1 megapixel.
- Tick **Upscale ×2** to double the size of the result. This costs more.

Each quality and **Upscale ×2** shows its estimated price before you start. The price on the **Restyle** button is for the options that you selected, and it includes the check of your prompt. After the restyle, the panel shows what it really cost.

## Restyle a render

For the best result, make a photoreal render first. See [Take a snapshot or a render](/docs/how-to/pictures/take-a-snapshot/). After a render, a list in the panel lets you select **current view** or **path-traced render**.

## Save the result

The panel shows the original and the result side by side, at the top of the panel. Below them you see the image model, the size and what the result cost. Click **Save PNG** to download the result at full size. The options fold into the **Settings ▾** line, and the **Restyle** button stays below it.

If the panel has more content than it can show, **More below ↓** shows at its bottom edge. Scroll the panel, or click **More below ↓**.

The panel keeps your last 6 results for the project in this browser. Click a small picture to see that result again.
