# Sign in and accept the Terms

Sign in with Google, accept the Terms, use a Founding Maker invite, and switch or sign out of your account.

KerfCraft is in beta. You sign in with a Google account, and people get access by invitation.

## Sign in

1. Go to kerfcraft.app.
2. Click **Sign in** at the top of the page.
3. Click **Sign in with Google**.
4. Select your Google account.

The first time that you sign in, KerfCraft asks you to accept the Terms.

## Accept the Terms

The **Before you start** screen shows the main points of the Terms. The full Terms are at the **Terms** link.

1. Click **Terms** and read the full Terms.
2. Select **I have read and agree to the KerfCraft Terms.**
3. Click **Agree and continue**.

If the Terms change, the screen **Our Terms have changed** shows when you next open the app.
You must accept the new Terms before you can use the app again.

## If you are on the waitlist

If you do not have access yet, the screen **You're on the waitlist** shows. KerfCraft sends you an email when you get access.

While you wait, you can answer the questions on that screen. All the questions are optional.

1. Answer the questions that you want to answer.
2. Click **Save**.

## Use a Founding Maker invite

A Founding Maker invite gives you access. Some invites also give you free AI credit.

If you have the invite link:

1. Open the invite link.
2. Click **Sign in with Google**.
3. Select your Google account.
4. Select the check box to agree to the Terms.
5. Click **Agree and redeem invite**.
6. Click **Start designing**.

If you have only the code, start on the sign-in screen or on the waitlist screen:

1. Click **I'm a Founding Maker**.
2. Paste the link or the code from your invite.
3. Click **Continue**.
4. If you are on the sign-in screen, sign in with Google as in [Sign in](#sign-in).
5. Select the check box to agree to the Terms.
6. Click **Agree and redeem invite**.
7. Click **Start designing**.

An invite works only for the Google account with the email address that the invite was sent to.
The welcome screen shows your Founding Maker number, and the credit that the invite added, if any.
If you used the invite before, a message tells you that you already redeemed it.

## Switch account or sign out

Your projects stay with the Google account that you used. Another account does not see them.

1. Click your email address in the toolbar.
2. Click **Switch account** to sign in with a different Google account, or click **Sign out**.

On the waitlist screen, click **Use a different Google account** or **Sign out**.
